November/ December Reflection

Something fun that we did in this class was the snowflake project. This required creativity. As we were getting closer to Christmas time, Mrs. Barton thought it'd be a good idea to create snowflakes. Through this project I learned that there are fun things to do for work on the internet. Not just boring things and not social networking sites that are just a waste of time.
This project was a very fun project and it was cool being able to see your snowflake along with millions of others. Each snowflake is different to. You get to cut and invent your snowflake all on the internet. It's a very fun, creative project.

October Reflection

My October reflection will be on the Spanish speaking countries tour project. In this project we had to research three Spanish speaking countries we would like to visit and one cultural activity in each of the three along with find airplane tickets, booking hotels, finding things to eat and a way for transportation all in a budget of $5,000.
This project used research fluency in a big way. We had to research other countries, research about the countries cultures, research flights and hotels. It was a good experience trying to find all of these things to research. It almost gives you some life experiences so that when I have to do this in real life I'll be able to handle it and I'll know what to do. I'm very happy with my work and I enjoyed researching all these countries, hotels, cultures, and airlines.

August-September Reflection

Something that I though was pretty interesting was the Parthenon project that we did in google sketchup. The Parthenon project included creativity, research fluency, critical thinking, and technology operations and concepts. It really helped me understand a lot more about google sketchup as we advanced into using it more and more. It was a good project to start the semester off with.
I learned a lot from this project. I can't say google sketchup is the easiest thing to get the hang of, but as your progress into using it you can gradually get the swing of how everything works. Little did I know it was going to help me out in a big way when we had to do our final on a google sketchup project of our own. It really helped me understand what i needed to do to create something on my own.
I'm very proud of my work in this class. I really have learned a lot in here not only about google sketchup, but a lot about technology. This class has helped me a lot and will hopefully carry on with me.

Happy People

The article I chose to write about was Happy People.
This article states that happiness can come from success, but sometimes success can also come from happiness.
I believe that people who are happy shall have success.
I believe that because if you're happy and have a good attitude and let stupid things go and continue to live your life you will be a strong happy person and you will find success.
